Isles a Secret Threat

The NHL Stanley Cup Playoff Round 1 is in full swing.  The New York Islanders and Vancouver Canucks are off to amazing starts.  Other teams on the move upward are the Carolina Hurricanes and Montreal Canadiens.  The Colorado Avalanche continue to hole the top spot. Can they continue this success and land themselves in the second round.  Pittsburgh, Toronto, and Edmonton dive in the Playoff version of the NHL Power Rankings.

Rangers are Lucky Losers, and Stanley Cup Playoff Predictions

It is time for the real Stanley Cup Playoffs, but wow how can we forget those Qualifiers. Brad Burud and Blake Friars recap all of the Qualifying Series and also throw in their two cents on the Round Robin play. Blake had fairly good results on his predictions and Brad….well not so much. Now it is time for the real predictions. Brad and Blake lay down their predictions for the entire Stanley Cup Playoffs and breakdown all of the opening round series. The New York Rangers win the #1 pick in the NHL Draft this year in a wonky NHL Draft Lottery. Some people loved it, many hated it…yep you guessed it we have our opinions too…Put a smile on your face sit back and give a listen…its Stanley Cup Playoff time…..FINALLY!

The Long Wait = Intensity

We finally have live hockey and it is amazing…The intensity is better than expected and the games have been hard fought. Brad Burud and Blake Friars breakdown all the early games in the Qualifiers and also give a quick rundown of the Round Robin games. The Tkachuk incident or (lack of Tkachuk in the incident) is debated. The Oilers thumping in game 1 and the Canucks struggles.
