Toronto in Unfamiliar Territory – NHL Power Ranking – 2021 March 27

2021 – March 27

Toronto in Unfamiliar Territory
The Toronto Maple Leafs are in unfamiliar territory – just one spot out of the #1 NHL Power Ranking. They have slowly moved up the ladder to the top posting a league leading 32 points and highest winning percentage of .762. The defending Stanley Cup Champions still hold the top spot and continue to look very strong. The red hot Edmonton Oilers vault up eight spots after winning eight of their last ten games. Other teams heading in a positive direction are the Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota Wild, Chicago Blackhawks and Ottawa Senators. Teams headed in the wrong direction are the Montreal Canadiens. After winning just three of their last ten games they fall twelve spots. Calgary, Buffalo and Anaheim drop drastically down the ranks.
