CAPITALS’ WILSON FINED FOR KNEEING
Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson has been fined $2,403.67, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for kneeing Pittsburgh Penguins forward Conor Sheary during Game 1 of the teams’ Second Round series in Washington on Thursday, April 28, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 4:01 of the third period.
The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
