FLAMES’ TKACHUK SUSPENDED TWO GAMES FOR ELBOWING
Calgary Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk has been suspended for two games, without pay, for elbowing Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty during NHL Game No. 1069 in Calgary on Sunday, March 19, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 19:35 of the first period.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Tkachuk will forfeit $10,277.78. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
