The NHL rulebook is over 200 pages. Why is only 60 of the pages used in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Brad Burud of Inside Edge Hockey News discusses why this is not correct and why this negatively effects teams. Rules should not change in the post season. Not in hockey or any other sport. How is an official suppose to make consistent calls when he is expected to change his style because it is the playoffs? You have a rulebook, use it!

I have played, coached, worked as statistician, and watched hockey all of my life. Hockey is not just a game, it is a lifestyle and family. The game of hockey is great! It can bring you nights of great enjoyment. It also brings nights where you feel like your team will never win. I am proud to be a journalist for the greatest game in the world.
