— EPISODE 46 —
Last week the NHL and Adidas introduced Reverse Retro jerseys for all 31 NHL teams. Many were amazing, and many were hideous. Then there were two. Although the Colorado Avalanche and Carolina Hurricanes jerseys were amazing, they were also very controversial in my opinion. Colorado’s was a mix of Quebec Nordiques logos and Avalanche colors. It was very good looking. The Carolina Hurricanes was a grey version of the Hartford Whalers jerseys of years ago. It was amazing, but there was absolutely zero representation of the Hurricanes. Which sounds fine but what if you are a Hartford Whalers fan, or for that matter a Quebec Nordiques fan that still misses their home team. Is this an insult? In my mind it is.
