The Stick it to Cancer Tournament is a benefit to support the fight against breast cancer. Each team volunteers a combined total of six hours, and all referees donate their time to tournament operations, resulting in an even larger donation to cancer research. In 2012 the University of Minnesota Cancer Center was the designated donation recipient, receiving $85,000 of the proceeds for this event. Come join more than 100 teams as they skate in support of family and friends in their fight against breast cancer.

The many of us that play hockey are a family. A tight knit family. We challenge each other, but always stand by each other, and we will always help each other. Sadly cancer has affected each and every one of us in the hockey family. This tournament is one way hockey players can have a blast, and donate to help battle cancer. Hockey players love to play the game, and it is even more fun to play when you’re helping fight the battle against cancer. The Inside Edge Hockey News is proud to have friends that are taking time out of their busy lives to travel to Blaine, Minnesota to raise money for cancer, and to play the game they love. Inside Edge Hockey News has made a donation to the Stick it to Cancer Tournament, and I encourage, and challenge each and very one of you to do the same. Please click the button below to make your donation. I would also like to support my local team, and help them win the donation challenge. When you kindly make your donation please enter the team as Central ND Flurries. This is a great group of ladies that love to play the game for fun, and help out a great cause. The hockey family is a tight family, and a helping family. Thank you for your donation to this great tournament, and great cause.
