BLUES’ REAVES SUSPENDED THREE GAMES FOR BOARDING
St. Louis Blues forward Ryan Reaves has been suspended for three games, without pay, for boarding San Jose Sharks defenseman Matt Tennyson during NHL Game No. 892 in St. Louis on Monday, Feb. 22, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 8:37 of the first period. Reaves was assessed a major penalty for boarding and game misconduct.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Reaves will forfeit $18,145.17. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
