The 2014 NHL trade deadline has come and gone. A total of 20 trades were made with 38 players changing addresses. Deadline day proved to be a somewhat busy day. A little busier day than most expected after a surprisingly busy day yesterday. A few teams got a great deal better and a few teams seemed to take a step backward. Deadline day trades are often proved to be very insignificant. The one team that stands out as a winner this year is the Minnesota Wild. The acquisition of Matt Moulson and Cody McCormick adds a whole new dimension to an already talented team. The Western Conference is going to be very interesting. Here is a team by team breakdown of the deals that happened on Deadline Day.
