FLYERS’ GUDAS SUSPENDED SIX GAMES FOR INTERFERENCE
Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Radko Gudas has been suspended for six games for interference against Boston Bruins forward Austin Czarnik during NHL Preseason Game No. 96 in Boston on Saturday, Oct. 8, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 5:47 of the third period. Gudas was assessed a minor penalty for boarding.

Gudas is considered a repeat offender under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, will forfeit $245,121.96. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
