The Chicago Blackhawks are racking up the votes. Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford (955,385) and defenseman Brent Seabrook (875,686) round out the top six vote-getters. Through six weeks of balloting, more than 31 million votes have been collected. The leading vote getter is Zemgus Girgensons of the Buffalo Sabres. Yes it is a surprise, but his group of fans have been relentless in placing votes, and he continues to lead going into the last day.
Voting concludes at 11:59 p.m. ET on Jan. 1, with the top six vote-getters by position – three forwards, two defensemen and one goaltender.
