FLYERS’ GUDAS SUSPENDED THREE GAMES FOR ILLEGAL CHECK TO THE HEAD
Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Radko Gudas has been suspended for three games, without pay, for an illegal check to the head of Ottawa Senators forward , during NHL Game No. 361 in Ottawa on Tuesday, Dec. 1, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 2:07 of the third period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Gudas will forfeit $15,994.62. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
