BLUE JACKETS’ CALVERT SUSPENDED ONE GAME FOR CROSS-CHECKING
Columbus Blue Jackets forward Matt Calvert has been suspended for one game for cross-checking Pittsburgh Penguins forward Tom Kuhnhackl during Game 2 of the teams’ First Round series in Pittsburgh on Friday, April 14, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 19:25 of the third period. Calvert was assessed a minor penalty for cross-checking.
