Habs Forge Early Season Charge 

Finally NHL Power Rankings that are determined by actual play on the ice.  The season is just over week old and some teams are showing a drastic trend upward and some have fallen flat on their face.  The Montreal Canadiens move up fifteen spots into the #4 slot.  The Vegas Golden Knights continue to hold the top spot.  Other big movers in a positive direction are Winnipeg, Calgary, Florida and Minnesota.  Teams trending the wrong direction are Edmonton, New York Rangers, Buffalo and last years surprise team the Vancouver Canucks.
