The National Hockey League will celebrate the 100 Greatest NHL Players with THE NHL100™, a star-studded primetime television special hosted by Emmy Award-winning actor Jon Hamm and featuring special appearances from 2017 NHL® All-Star players and famous hockey fans from the worlds of movies and television, as well as musical performances. Billed as the largest gathering ever of hockey legends, the 90-minute fête will be broadcast live from Microsoft Theater on Friday, Jan. 27, at 6:30 p.m. PT / 9:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN in the U.S. and Sportsnet and TVAS in Canada. THE NHL100™ will showcase the entire collection of the 100 Greatest NHL Players, with 67 members (who played predominantly from 1967-present) being unveiled at the event. These players will join the 33 legends (who played primarily from 1917-1966) who were announced at the 2017 Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic™ on Jan. 1.

I can’t wait to bring this unique hockey celebration to my second hometown — Los Angeles.”
THE NHL100™ is just one of many special events and festivities honoring a century’s worth of extraordinary players, teams, remarkable plays and unforgettable moments. The NHL’s Centennial Celebration began officially on Jan. 1 in Toronto with the 2017 Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic™ outdoor game. This marquee event also featured the first phase in the announcement of the 100 Greatest NHL Players as well as the launch of the NHL Centennial Fan Arena, a traveling fan experience that will visit all NHL markets across North America in 2017.
The Los Angeles Kings, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary, and the city of Los Angeles will play host to the 2017 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend. The festivities begin with the opening of the 2017 NHL Fan Fair™, including the NHL® Centennial Fan Arena, on Thursday, Jan. 26; continue with the celebration of the 100 Greatest NHL Players at THE NHL100on Friday, Jan. 27 (6:30 p.m. PT / 9:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN, SN, TVAS) and the 2017 Coors Light NHL All-Star Skills Competition™ on Saturday, Jan. 28 (4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET, NBCSN, CBC, SN, TVAS); and conclude with the 2017 Honda NHL® All-Star Game on Sunday, Jan. 29 (12:30 p.m. PT / 3:30 p.m. ET, NBC, CBC, SN, TVAS).
