CAPITALS’ ORPIK SUSPENDED THREE GAMES FOR INTERFERENCE
Washington Capitals defenseman Brooks Orpik has been suspended for three games for interference against Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Olli Maatta during Game 2 of the teams’ Second Round series in Washington on Saturday, April 30, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced.

The incident occurred at 4:13 of the first period. Orpik was assessed a minor penalty for interference.
