CAPITALS’ CHIMERA FINED $5,000 FOR BUTT-ENDING
Washington Capitals forward Jason Chimera has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for butt-ending Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere during NHL Game No. 1150 in Philadelphia on Wednesday, March 30, the NationalHockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 17:29 of the second period.
