This past week was probably the most entertaining week of hockey this year in the National Hockey League. The Battle of Alberta was amped up to a level hockey fans have not seen since the mid 80’s. Brad Burud and Blake Friars tell you how the madness went down, how the goalie fight changes the rivalry and tells you why this is the top rivalry in the NHL. Then its time to stress Canucks fan Blake out. With success comes money problems. Will the Canucks resign Jakob Markstrom? How much is he worth? What is the proper term? How will the Canucks be able manage paying all their young high-end talent? It will be a fun problem to see play out. Blake Friars brings the Canadian approach to the show. The Bienfait, Saskatchewan native grew up playing hockey for 16 years. The goalie is also a long-time Roberto Luongo fan, and claims the Vancouver Canucks as his favorite team. Blake brings the millennial approach to the show. He is candid in his approach, and creates numerous laughs.
