The NHL Trade Deadline has come and gone and the best way to describe deadline day is “sleeper”. There was only 4 transactions prior to 2:00pm and the final hour featured numerous transactions, but none of any real magnitude. This is a little bit of a surprise, but should it be? Most of the big deadline deals took place in the four days leading up to the deadline. That is when many of the impact transactions took place.
