SF BullsNow that the team has disassembled, fans are likely wondering where their favorite San Francisco Bulls have steered.  As a bit of closure, former captain Scott Langdon had this to say:

I appreciate the opportunity I got to play for San Francisco by being their captain because it was such a great city and hockey team. Unfortunately, with the team folding we have split up and I’m in South Carolina to start a new chapter in my hockey career. I’m looking forward to playing new teams and maybe make it to the AHL to further my career that way. I take a lot of good things from San Fran; I met a lot of good people there. It was a great experience and I’m thankful for it.

Many of the players have stayed in the ECHL, scattering to hockey cities across the country. Those with two-way Sharks contracts were reassigned to their AHL affiliate in Worcester, MA.

Current players at the time of team termination:

Kyle Bigos (D), Ontario Reign (ECHL)

Collin Bowman (D), Bakersfield Condors (ECHL)

Jordan Morrison (C), Alaska Aces (ECHL)

Some parting notes: While with the SF Bulls, Dean Ouellet represented the team at the All-Star game in their first season.  Former goaltender Thomas Heemskerk became the first Bull to get an NHL call-up when he backed up an injured Thomas Greiss for the Sharks. In a unique situation, San Jose lent the Bulls their rink for a tilt at the HP Pavilion (now called SAP Center) in front of over 17,000 fans during the NHL lockout.

Good luck to the boys as they venture to greener pastures.
