The National Hockey League has released the regular season schedule for 2013. The lockout is over and hockey is back! The regular season will open one week from tonight on January 19th. On the docket that night will be thirteen games, with key match-ups such as Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, and Toronto and Montreal. Training camps officially open on January 13th. Medical physicals and evaluations will take place that Sunday, and on ice practices should begin on Monday. The regular season will consist of a 48 game schedule, in which all games will take place inside the conference. The regular season will conclude on April 27th, and the Stanley Cup playoffs will start a few days after that. Well after the long, long wait its finally time.
