The Ottawa Senators have a knack of coming on strong at the end. Just like in the regular season the Sens have powered back from a 3-0 deficit to Montreal. Tonights 5-1 Game 5 win for Ottawa has pushed the series to 3-2 in favor of Montreal.

Craig Anderson was the hero of the night posting 45 saves in the victory. Another good sign for the Senators is superstar Bobby Ryan ended his goal drought with a first period goal, and followed that up with a third period power-play goal.

Anderson’s great goaltending silenced the crowd. When asked about what lies ahead in the series Anderson responded, “It’s a long road to go. We have to continue to work hard and be ready for the next one. We’ve been very fortunate that we’ve been able to come back and win the next two, and we’re really looking forward to getting there Sunday and trying to win another one.”

Late in the third period more craziness broke out when Ottawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson viciously hacks Montreal Canadiens forward Brandon Prust after Prust speared him in the crease. Penalties resulted in the fracas, but again it looks like no suspensions will result.
