NHL NETWORK SETS LIVE PROGRAMMING SCHEDULE AHEAD OF 2015-16 SEASON

More Than 40 Preseason Game Telecasts Begin Sunday, September 20; Regular Season Game Schedule Features 12 Live Games Throughout October

Live Studio Programming Starts Monday, October 5

 As NHL training camps open this week, NHL Network announced its upcoming programming schedule ahead of the 2015-16 season, featuring more than 40 preseason game telecasts in 15 days, a new studio show schedule, and 12 live regular season games in October.

NHL Network’s slate of preseason games will begin this Sunday, September 20, with the New Jersey Devils against the Boston Bruins at 7:00 p.m. ET. On Thursday, September 24, NHL Network and NHL.com will exclusively air the fourth annual CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game, a showcase of the top U.S. players eligible for the 2016 NHL Draft, called live by Steve Mears, E.J. Hradek and Brian Duff from the First Niagara Center in Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. ET. The full list of NHL Network’s 2015 preseason game schedule can be viewed here.

NHL Network will televise 12 live regular season games during the month of October, starting with the reigning Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks against the New York Islanders on Friday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. ET as the Isles host their first regular season home game at their new venue, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The next day, NHL Network will feature a preview of the 2016 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic as Original Six rivals collide when the Montreal Canadiens visit the Boston Bruins on Saturday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m. ET. NHL Network’s 2015-16 live studio programming includes three signature weekday shows – NHL Live™ Powered By Constellation, NHL Tonight™ and On The Fly™– originating from the network’s new studio space in Secaucus, New Jersey. The studio schedule begins on Monday, October 5 with NHL Live, hosted by Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek at 5:00 p.m. ET, followed by a special, one-hour NHL Tonight: 2015-16 Eastern Conference Preview at 7:00 p.m. ET. The schedule continues on Tuesday, October 6 with NHL Live at 5:00 p.m. ET and NHL Tonight: 2015-16 Western Conference Preview at 7:00 p.m. ET.

NHL Network’s live studio coverage of the regular season begins with NHL Opening Night on Wednesday, October 7, featuring the latest news and previews of the night’s matchups on NHL Live at 5:00 p.m. ET. NHL Tonight will follow at 7:00 p.m. ET, with interviews and comprehensive highlights, look-ins and analysis of every game. The season premiere of On The Fly, revamped for the 2015-16 season as NHL Network’s nightly game recap show, will wrap up the Opening Night coverage.

All game schedules are subject to change. Game telecasts will be simulcasts of local broadcasts and subject to local market blackouts unless otherwise noted.
