From the NCAA Regionals to the NHL – it all happened in one day for the 20-year-old Brock Boeser.  The University of North Dakota star lost in a controversial double overtime game on Friday night to Boston University.  On Saturday morning, his head coach Brad Berry drove the young star to the airport for a flight to Minneapolis.  His destination, the National Hockey League.  With a contract signed soon after he landed it was time to take the ice for the Vancouver Canucks.  The icing on the top of the cake was that the game was played in his home state of Minnesota, and the Xcel Energy Center was filled with family and friends.  Well this sounds like a story book, well it is not over, he scores his first NHL goal and his team wins a great game over the plummeting Minnesota Wild.  A day of dreams for Brock Boeser.
