Sunday fun day with CrossCzech bringing you some fantasy insight on a 7 game Sunday night slate on Draftkings that locks at 5 p.m. EST. Draftkings is running qualifiers and satellites for for tickets to get into the Fantasy Hockey World Championship in Miami, Florida in March. They also are running the Sunday Special tonight, with a top prize of $4,000 and less than 1000 entrants, so get over there and reserve your games now. If thats not your thing, then there are plenty of cash games and double-ups available for everyone, as well as head-to head and winner-take-all type games too. If you are playing only a few bucks and want to take out the mass-entry/bankroll factor, look to the 3-entry max games that Draftkings offers, that way every player has the same amount of entries and it doesn’t matter if you have $100 or $10,000 as your bankroll, you get 3-entries regardless. Single-entry games are also another way to go if you are looking to avoid mass-entry players and like to play a single lineup or are a cash game player. Head-to head games are terrific as well but don’t be afraid to block certain players who a sharks in the shallows. Know your opponent, is Sun Tzu’s first rule of war in his book. Look over who wins every night and look over their rosters to see what they did that you maybe didn’t do or look to see how they constructed their roster. If you are not spending time reverse-engineering the best players then you might as well open your window and throw out your money. I don’t mean that in a negative connotation, but I am trying to instill the fact that learning on a daily basis is a huge part of DFS and finding the people who are successful and figuring out why they did what they did, makes you a better player. If you are doing this to have fun or win money is the ultimate question, and one that it is the basis for everything you do in DFS. A word to the wise, play it safe and close to your chest on these 3-game slate nights. It is very easy to be on the wrong side of the slate and miss entirely, so money management is vital to your long term success.

C. McDavid $8,000 L.Draisaitl $5,600 C. Talbot $7300

The chalk is definitely going to be Forsberg and crew with Josi on defense, but I think that the Oilers are in a better position of having been rested, have been in Nashville airing while the Preds have been all over. The first game back after a road trip is ALWAYS deflated as guys get back home and recharge. I like the Oilers and going back to either McDavid or Draisaitl. The two ave combined for more than 25% of the Oilers production and tonight we will see a tired and flat Nashville team that has a rested Oiler team ready and waiting for them. Vegas doesnt think much of Talbot with his price at $7,300 I like him as nice contrarian play getting value in shots and what I feel a win too. But thats me.
K. Okposo $5,500 R. Ristolainen $5,600 R. O’Reilly $5,900

Last night we saw the Columbus Blue Jackets explode for 7 goals after a week off, so do we see the same from Arizona after their break, who are ALSO playing a Buffalo team that played in Colorado last night and lost 5-3 empty net. How much do you factor this into the rostering of your team this evening. I like Arizona a bit more but with Louis Domingue announced to be in goal, I’d rather see Smith in goal frankly so dont discount buffalo and what Vegas says. This game is sneaky. If you want exposure to both lines and he entire first power play, then these three give you correlation yet exposure to both top lines. On the other side, Buffalo has the 3rd best power play in he league and Arizona is ranked in the bottom 5 in killing off penalties. You do the math. Kyle Okposo leads the team in points and paired with O’Reilly or Eichel, you can’t go wrong as long as you can fit them all. Ristolainen on defense makes for another strong value play as well as strong correlation that works with the forwards above.

R. Vrbata – $5,300 M.Domi $4,500 M. Hanzal $4,800
